lé fridge
our folks are coming over for dinner tonight &, as is the usual case, we needed to do a clean up of the place! we started with the fridge & just felt like sharing it as it is filled with all the things we love: postcards from loved ones from all around the world (rome to moscow to the blue mountains), photos of our gorgeous nephew, photos of good times, pics from exhibitions we loved, scribbled pictures from our best friend’s twins, beloved magnets from our travels, place mat from our local seafood restaurant ‘codfather’, notes of love from friends… & of course our beloved ‘bearded’ magnet.

clutching walls
we’ve been a little taken by various plants clutching to & crawling across walls in the inner west. a few moments to stop & watch is never wasted.

marvellous magnolia
with a month of winter still to go in the southern hemisphere, a cheeky mild & spring-like few days popped up last week…& with it erupted clusters of misled magnolias. & oh, how we marvelled.

oh, jónsi
as the gail force wind picks up today, threatening to sweep us off our feet, our mind floats back….
when we first saw Jónsi, he didn’t have the incredible sets (created by Fifty Nine Productions) that he had when touring the northern hemisphere.
but his soaring falsetto was enough to make us feel like we had been kidnapped by a bird for a night.
this captivating video clip is old, but it will never leave us.

mist
the air was thick with mist the other morning when we went for run. it was such an incredible feeling- that of breathing in heavy, wet air & that of being utterly immersed & a part of the heavy whiteness here, there, everywhere.
